For our Thesalia store in Larissa , we are looking for a:                                      

Sales Manager

The Position:    

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:                

Leading the Sales Division to achieve the desired and agreed objectives
Steering towards maximizing all commercial KPIs of the Store
Steering towards improving the profitability
Controlling, Steering and following up all operating costs, P&L elements and KPIs related to your areas of responsibility
Securing a consistent, seamless positive customer experience through all channels and all methods
Delivering and leading the commercial action plan for the store
Knowing the local market potential and ensure the store addresses the local customers needs
Implementing the actions agreed in order to improve the Customer Service and Employee Satisfaction indices                    
Selecting, developing and maintaining a motivated team capable of producing the agreed objectives

The skills

Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial position ideally in the high volume Retail
Very good people management skills, having worked with large teams    
Very good communication and interpersonal skills  
Customer Orientation and Commercial focus
Analytical and Synthesis Skills
Very good planning, organizational and follow up skills and team oriented personality    
Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
Long term strategic thinking/planning
University Degree (preferably in Business Administration)  
Very Good command of the English language
Good use of MS Office
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
Geographical mobility will be considered as an asset

Leading the Restaurant, Swedish Food Market and Bistro team
Ensuring the operation of all areas of your responsibility, in accordance with the IKEA quality, Food safety, and local legislation requirements                        
Ensuring that all areas of your responsibility operate in accordance with the HACCP and ISO standards and regulation                
Achieving the sales budget set by the IKEA Food & Beverage Manager for your areas of responsibility    
Controlling, Steering and following up all operating costs, P&L elements and KPIs related to your areas of responsibility            
Implementing the actions agreed in order to improve the Customer Service and Employee Satisfaction indices                    
Selecting, developing and maintaining a motivated team capable of producing the agreed objectives

Able to relocate, if needed, for work reasons
